Where do you ship to?

Unfortunately, I am only able to ship within the UK at the moment, especially with all the tariff hoo-hah going on in the United States. However, if you would like to order internationally, please get in touch! I should still be able to make it happen, no matter where you are in the world! :)

How often do you ship orders?

I will always try and ship orders as quickly as I can- But please be aware this may take a few days as I don’t live very close to my post office! Please allow a few days from the time you order for me to pack and ship your item, and a little longer for any made-to-order or special request items.

At present, I have 3 shipping options available:

Royal Mail 1st Class

Royal Mail 2nd Class

Royal Mail - Signed For (I’d recommend this one if you’re making a larger order or buying rarer/one-of-a-kind items etc!)

Returns/I have a problem with my order! What do I do?

Oh no! Returns/refunds will always be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Let me know what the problem is, and I’ll see what I can do for you. Please be aware however, as this is a second-hand bookshop, I may not be able to swap your book for a new one right away if this is needed, as I often only have one or two copies of a book at any given time.

What packaging do you use?

I use as MUCH recycled packaging as possible. Your order may not come in the prettiest packaging, but it’s much better for the planet to re-use things I’m given or already have. But no fear- Everything will always be packed to the best of my abilities to keep your orders safe and dry while they’re on their way to you!

Do you buy your stock, or take donations?

Both! For the most part, I buy my stock in all sorts of different ways, including directly from lovely people that would like to sell me some of their own collections. However I am also incredibly grateful for any donations! If you have books to sell, or books you’re happy to donate just to get them off your hands, get in touch!

Are all your books quality checked?

YES. After a few bad experiences with other online book stores selling me ‘Brand New/Very Good’ condition books that would then arrive dented, water damaged, and completely covered in pen (for quite a high price, might I add), I decided that all the photos of the books you see, will be the books you GET. I check every single book thoroughly for any issues, damage, annotations etc, and anything of that nature WILL be included in the photos and product descriptions. Of course, I’m only human so I can’t guarantee I’ll get it 100% perfect every single time forever, but I’ll be damned if I don’t try!

Can you source a book for me?

Of course! If you have a certain book in mind that you’d really like me to try and find for you, please let me know! I have a weird knack of finding books in the least expected places, so I’ll see what I can do for you! This goes for all other requests too- If you’d like me to stock a book just because you think other people would like it, please send any and all suggestions are ALWAYS encouraged!

I love your jewellery- But can I have it in gold?

Of course! When ordering jewellery, please read the item description carefully: You can almost always put in your order notes whether you’d prefer gold or silver, unless stated otherwise. All the jewellery hooks and findings I use are either gold or silver plated, however if you need anything hypo-allergenic, get in touch before ordering!

How do you make your handmade items?

Almost all of the items on my gifts/other section are entirely hand made by me, unless clearly stated otherwise! I hand draw and paint every item, usually using a lightweight wood base (especially for earrings) so they won’t weigh you down! My main materials used are Poscas, acrylic paint and acryla-gouache.
